The Oropa Trail stretches for about 64 kilometers in the Piedmont region. In our journey, this route is covered in four days, starting from the agricultural plains and leading up to the mountains. It passes through forests, castles, ancient villages, and spiritual sites, offering unforgettable views.

The Oropa Trail presents a moderate level of difficulty, with stages varying between 14 and 16 kilometers in length. It is ideal for both those who have never embarked on a multi-day hiking route and wish to challenge themselves, as well as for experienced walkers looking for a new and exciting journey.

What landscapes are encountered along the Oropa Trail?
The Oropa Trail crosses diverse natural environments, including forests, meadows, villages, and ancient towns. The landscape ranges from the agricultural fields and rice paddies of the plain around Santhià, through hills passing through beech and chestnut woods, and gradually reaching the slopes of the green Biella Prealps. The views extend from Lake Viverone to the Po Valley and the peak of Mount Mucrone, offering a rich and varied visual experience throughout the journey.
