Booking a SloWays trip is quick and easy. Here is a summary of everything you need to do!
Contact us: Have you found a trip you like? Before reaching out, we suggest you carefully read the page related to the trip that interests you. It includes a lot of useful information to help you decide if it's the right one for you. We also recommend reading our article on difficulty levels to ensure it matches your fitness level, and our article on self-guided trips to better understand the type of journey we offer.
Receive a quote: You can request a quote directly on our website. There's an option on each trip page to do this automatically on the trip's page, or you can email us for a quote. We will provide an initial quote, which is subject to confirmation based on the availability of the accommodations. To proceed with the booking, we require a 30% deposit. For last-minute bookings (within a month of the requested departure date), we will ask for full payment.
Receive our confirmation: Once we have confirmed availability with all the hotels, we will send you the final confirmation of the trip and the quote, including details of the hotels and services included. In some cases, the quote may vary based on the hotels we have booked according to your requested dates. In this case, you can either confirm the updated quote or receive a refund of your deposit. One month before departure, we will ask for the balance payment.
Receive the documentation: A few weeks before departure, we'll send you a digital version of all travel documentation via e-mail. You can read about our travel documentation in details here .

We recommend that you contact us at least two months before the desired departure date, to avoid lack of availability in the standard accommodation, which may result in an increased price.

Your travel package will automatically include a medical-luggage insurance, that will refund you of medical expenses, and of the commercial value of your luggage. In order to receive a refund, you will have to report the accident to the toll free number 02 58286532. The maximum coverage for medical expenses is: 1.000 Euros in Italy, 7.000 Euros in Europe & Mediterranean countries, 10.000 Euros for Russia and other World countries. The maximum coverage for luggage is 1000 Euros.
While booking, you can also choose to include an optional cancellation insurance. Its price is 5,1% of the total package cost. This insurance will allow you to be refunded of the cancellation fee you would otherwise have to pay, in case the annulment happens because of: health reasons (own or close relatives - Covid19 infections included), material damage caused by natural disasters, impossibility to take part to the trip because of new job hiring or summoning to appear in court.
