What's the difference between "normal" trips and "backpack" trips?
The main difference is the absence of luggage transport between stages; backpack trips do not include luggage transfer from one stage to the next. You will have to carry your backpack from one hotel to another. Otherwise, the facilities we use are the same as for normal trips, and you will always have a room with a private bathroom.
Can I choose a "backpack" route but request luggage transfer?
In some cases, it is possible to request luggage transfer. In other cases, such as mountain trips between huts, luggage transfer is not possible - this will be clearly communicated within the travel card.
Can I decide I want luggage transfer once the trip has started?
If it's possible to add luggage transfer to your trip, you can decide to have it transported even after the start of the trip; in this case, we will inform you of the supplement for the stages affected by the transfer and ask you to pay it before confirming the service.
